James Bond Beach, a 10-minute walk from Goldeneye is a public beach with restaurant and bar.
Goldeneye villas are set amidst a lush tropical garden. Due to the tradition of tree planting by guests begun in 1956, the garden is a treasure trove of exotic trees. You will find Giant Banyan trees, African Tulip trees, the rare Cannon Ball tree, Palms of every description and many varieties of fruits including mangos, citrus, and spice trees.
An untouched private island adjacent to Goldeneye is a protected bird sanctuary. Jamaica has more than 255 bird species, of which 26 species are endemic to the island. Parakeets and Parrots as well as Doctor Birds, Egrets and Cranes are among the birds commonly seen at Goldeneye.
