Though not strictly a tour or activity, the drive from Montego to Negril is a spectacular one with inlets, bays and beaches all along the way to stop at.
The road passes through the town of Lucea, currently being considered by the Heritage trust for preservation.
This route offers some of the most attractive coastland in Jamaica. Less wild than the South Coast, but more cultivated, with arable farmlands stretching into the seas.
If you rest in Montego Bay, stop at Pier one and take a trip to see some of the oldest reef in Jamaica. There are several companies that leave from Pier 1 and take you out onto the reefs in boats that have glass corridors six foot under water.
